Steve, I say a prayer for you every day, my friend.  Hard to believe it's been over a year since you left us.  I'll always remember the good times we had at DemandStar and beyond.  I hope that you, Diana, Nemo, and Dory are all happy together and at peace.  Take care, my friend. See you further on down the road.

Hi all, a group of us are meeting at Wiseguys Lounge in Debary tonight around 6 to remember our friend Steve.

Steve was a strong member of our racquetball group playing at Eastmonte park. He was competitive but always willing to play with everyone. We had some great games and even better conversations between games. Our condolences to his parents Lydia and Terry. 

To my friend, Stephen Gilboy, rest in peace. Eventhough we were seperated by countries you made such a profound impact on my life. If it wasnt for you there would have been no team-integra and I wouldn't met all the people I am still friends with to this day. Thank you for all the fond memories they were some of the best times in my life. You brought so much joy to so many people and your kindness stretches no borders. I will never forget you. My heart goes out to family and everyone in the community. We will miss you Stephen 💙🕊

I wanted to share a photo of how Steve brought people together even in his passing.  We were all friends of Steve at Demand Star and still were friends two decades later. Godspeed Steve.  The world does need more Steve’s. I hope we can all pay forward your kindness, joy, and the ability to make anything fun.  You are deeply missed.

Sooo sorry to hear about Stephen.   Such a great kid.  Please accept our deepest sympathy and prayers.   Boyscout memories are the best.  Love to you all.    

I went to high school with Steve.  We spent many an hour playing basketball or driving around listening to music in the late 80s.  We lost touch over the years, but I was very happy to reconnect with him a few years ago when I found out he was occasionally working in Santa Fe, not too far from where I live.  It was fantastic to meet up a couple of times when he was out here.  He loved the western vistas so it was great to see it through his eyes and catch up.  Rest easy, Steve.  I am glad to know you are at peace now.

Loved beyond measure by so many.  Neighborhood family, Integra family, school  family…every one loved to spend time with Steve. Your parents raised an exceptional human being and the world is not the same without him.  I am not the same without him. For so long he has been my first contact in the morning and my last contact at night.  We talked about everything and nothing.  We enjoyed good food, detailed conversations about movies and TV, and loved swapping Disney stories.  In the past 2 years he worked hard to convince me to take some chances and do some things for me. Although I am not there yet, I can still hear his voice in my head pushing me further.  I can hear him offering wisdom when I struggle. He was one of a kind and I miss him every day. I pray that he has found peace and that all of us who have been blessed to have hd him touch our lives will pass it on in his honor. 

My deepest sympathies. Met Stephen on multiple occasions at his parents home. Always smiling and always willing to help. A great son and person who will be missed by many. God bless.

This was Oct 2019 Steve and I went to Mickey's not so scary Halloween. We had an absolute blast. Rode every ride in the park, watched the Halloween parade, trick or treated, and saw the fireworks- it was a perfect night that I will treasure in my memories for ever. 

I will never forget when my brother Greg and Steve were in high school, we would play basketball at the end of the driveway at my parents house. Steve was very competitive and focused on winning; he wasn’t going to let this old guy beat him. In later years after a few drinks, he was always animated and told some fascinating stories. While Steve’s life was cut short, he is now at peace. My sympathies go our to his parents Terry and Lydia.

So many memories!  I don’t even know where to start. You will be missed, but never forgotten. You were always there, so selfless and willing to do anything for anyone. I pray our family follows in your example. You were family to us. You will forever be Shot Guy to me, and Uncle Shot Guy to our kids. I can still hear them calling for you on the Mediterranean cruise. Such an amazing trip - to be able to spend that one with you was a blessing.  We love and miss you. Rest in peace Moose

You raised a good man, loving son, great husband, loyal friend. There are not enough words to express the loss of someone whom made an impact in our lives. He will forever be remembered in our hearts. His love for travel, his loyalty to people, his true generosity and selflessness. 
No matter what he would always find a way to make you smile and laugh. Another angel went home, and I feel he and Diana are together again. He is never missed until he is forgotten. Therefore, daily reminders and memories will keep him in our hearts every single day for the rest of our lives. With eternal love for Steve and the entire family.

Always up for an adventure! Always up to be with family and be a part of the fun. Ever since you married Diana, you made every effort to be with us including getting Diana and the kids out to Arizona , to driving from New Mexico (twice) to be with us on our family trips  and of course the trips back home to see Mom.  You were loved, you were family and you will always be in our hearts.

Stephen will always be a special person to me. It’s not that I’ve seen him too often since high school, but there are just some people in this world that touch your life and continue to have an impact. He deserved so much more than this world gave him. Yes he had a lot, but a lot was also taken too early. I hope he is in a peaceful heaven with his wife and other loved ones. Maybe I will run into him in the afterlife for a DHS reunion after party. On a light-hearted note- I still hate that cowboy hat! 🤣♥️

Steve and I met via our mutual hosting of online forums, his Integra site and my paratrooper site. Together we solved problems, helped others and shared nerdy tech stuff. We met in person only twice in about the 20 years, but kept in touch online. 

He had his life challenges, so I hope he is at peace with Diana.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Gilboy, We are so sorry for your loss. Our hearts are breaking for you. I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through. Nor can I fathom the thought of losing a child. My sincere condolences go to Stephen's family.  I only knew him for a short time, but I remember him as unique, funny and intelligent.  He has made an impression on my heart.  


We will always remember you as a kid, surrounded by really great friends. We will remember your gentle spirit and your laugh with your head thrown back followed by a hand covering your face.  We remember your interest in all things and especially people. We will never forget your love for our children. Your memory is strong within our family.
