Deltona, FL age 91 died on October 1, 2016 at his home. He was born August 17, 1925 in Brazil, IN. He is survived by his wife Joan; children, Barbara Lee Smith, Jacqueline Marie (Bill) Fritz, Patty (Chris) Knupp, Danny (Patti) Toops, Kathi Barthomew, Vicki (Jim) Hess and Terri (Tom) Egler; grandchildren Jenni Lott, Jacob Harrison and eleven others; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brother John (Georgia) Best; sister Esther Marie Taylor; several nieces nephews and dear friends. Squire was a WWII Submarine Veteran and a member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Moose. He especially enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, mushroom hunting, playing cards and beer.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday October 6th 5-8 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Tuesday October 11, 2016 12:00 PM. Burial will at 2:00 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims with Full Military Honors.
