Robert M. " Bob" Ayers, 90, of Deltona, Florida passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Orange City, Florida. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 22, 1923 to Hobert and Lillian Jesse Ayers. Bob was a train repair write up person for C & O Railroad, Plymouth, Michigan, where he had worked for 31 years before retiring. Upon retirement, he moved to Boynton Beach , Florida and then to Deltona, Florida, where he and his wife of 61 years, Doris, have lived since 1990. Bob was a US Army veteran of WW II. He is survived by his wife, Doris; 2 sons, Steven R. Ayers of Fleming Island, Florida and John B. Ayers of Novi, Michigan and 4 grandchildren.
