Sometimes the silliest things stick with you. I will never forget when the kids were little and decided they wanted to wear deoderant. Phil called it "stinky stuff". He would ask them if they had some stinky stuff on. LOL Still today every time I put on deoderant I remember this and often catch myself calling it the same thing. I'm so grateful for all the love and care he gave them.

Dearest Tracy and Family, I was very blessed to have you enter into my life Tracy and in getting to know you and Bryson I was more so blessed to meet  your Dad.  Such a loving man with a quick saying to make you giggle.  I can remember the times when my husband was in the hospital and sure thing Dad was too.  Waiting for Ralph to get out of surgery and being able to see your Dad and his encouraging words even though he was not feeling well pulled me through.  He was a selfless person whose heart was a big as the day.  He will be so missed by all of you and all those who were touched by his compassion and smile!!  Prayers and thoughts for all of you and one day you will all sit down and watch those football games together again. May God embrace him with all his love and the angels sing for him always. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I have such great memories of your dad. Just thinking about him makes me smile. I always had so much fun hanging out at your house with all of you and your dad cooking for us!

I have so many wonderful memories. Going to work with you a lot and pretending to work there too. Sending notes in the tube thing like the banks have now. Going over the big walk bridge outside your office to the train depot and your friend let me drive a train. Leaving your office to bring notes down the road to a place along side the train tracks and putting those notes on poles and the engineer and the conductor each stuck their arms out and grabbed them. I think I was about 6-7 then. I remember many times while you were sleeping, and I would sneek into your room. You had your pants on the floor next to the bed and I would come sneek money out of you pants. One day you caught me and yelled " RAHHHH " while touching my back and I nearly jumped through the roof. I remember you teaching me how to fish, I remember you taking me to the dentist and when we were done we went to the store for you to pick up something and I wanted a paint by number set, you said if you got me one the others would want something too. I said we can just tell them the dentist gave it to me and you gave me a look but I got it anyways.. ( Yes you really did spoil me rotten ) I also, remember you being at all of our band and choir concerts, you even came to my track meets, gymnastic meets and volley ball games when you could. I remember planting the trees in the front yard in Howard Lake. I remember planting the garden, strawberries and the grape vines. Then years later when the grapes were good and ready, I remember picking them with you and helping you make the grape wine. Dandilion wine too. I remember you teaching me how to drive the riding lawnmower because I wanted to cut the grass. I remember my car accident, I totaled you new car. I remember you feeding me because I was too sore to move. I remember buying my first car, you would not let me get the one I wanted because it was too small and unsafe. I remember driving down I-4 going to the beach with Deedee and some friends and the tire blew. The cops called you and you came and fixed the tire. ( you had to go buy a new one ) I remember when you bought the organ and gave Deedee and I lessons. I remember the day the man showed up at the house to deliver my drum set. That was a total suprise, I loved that thing. I have many many more memories. I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH!!

I met u at a cancer walk that ur daughter was captain of you can tell they loved u. You did a great job raisin them. My prayer for streghnth to them.countne making u proud.

I loved how you insisted I learn how to cook. You sat at the table while I attempted my first apple pie telling to add a little of this and pinch of that. When I'd ask you who much was a pinch you said "about that much" The best part was when I pulled out of the oven the apple flavored rock and you gave me that over the glasses look and and that wonderful belly bouncing laugh (which lasted a long time.)I never did learn to make home made apple pies. 

My best memory it trying my darndest to stay awake while snuggling you on the couch watching the Vikings play. You never got mad when I accidently cheered the wrong team :)

I LOVE THE MOST OF the way you stood by my side when I did some of the dumbest things, and slept sitting up on a wooden stool when I was in the hospital having Nico. 

I could go on forever. 
I love you Daddy, I can't wait to watch another game with you.

I first met your father Phil, when he was  
a groomsman at my weddin to your uncle  Sam,my impression at that time and has remained was his kindness
and joking sense of humour, he was kind to my children and us. Later we would visit at your parents farm in Clquer,the kids loved it. Your father was a good man.
As I have learned to know his children, I think, what great kids you are.
How proud he must have been of you all, and what joy and comfort you brought to life,    a gift to all

I have some amazing memories of growing up next to the DeLuca family! You are all wonderful people! I'm thinking of you and praying for you all.

Thank you for always being proud of me. Thank you for letting me dance on your toes, teaching me to polka. Thank you for eating my cooking experiments even though they tasted like crap. Thank you for teaching me not to buy anything unless it has a red sticker. Thank you for buying my first 35 mm camera even though it didn't have a red sticker. Thank you for making me an ice skating rink. Thank you for always sitting front and center at all my band and choir concerts. Thank you for teaching me how to drive while sitting on your lap. Thank you for forgiving me when I was the biggest teenage brat in existence in the history of the world. Thank you for a cool last name. But most of all, thanks for being the most extraordinary Dad in the world. I am amazed at the number of people whose lives you have touched. I will miss you…forever. Rest in Peace.

It has only been 2 days since you left to rest. My heart aches so much. You have worked so hard all your life and fought so hard for it to continue. I know you were tired as you had told me many times. Rest in piece daddy for it was you time. I will miss your hugs and kisses, the I love you's too. God knew this was the right thing to do. I know what your thinking. Yeah, yeah, sure, sure. We will meet again and that is for sure.
