Philip Gerald De Luca, age 81, Orange City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Orange City. He was born September 22, 1931 in Duluth, Minnesota. Philip was a retired Dispatcher-Telegrapher for Burlington Northern Railroad and a veteran of the US Army. He moved to Florida in 1983 from Howard Lake, Minnesota. Philip enjoyed golf , going to the Dogtrack and horse races. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic & Rosalie Simone De Luca; a brother, Frank De Luca; sisters, Mary De Luca and Viola Bloom; brother in-law, Dick Nagle; sister in-law, Linda De Luca. Philip is survived by his son, Kelly Ray De Luca of Deltona, FL; daughters. Gina Marie ( Tom) Watson of Weston, FL; Tracy Janine De Luca of Orange City, FL; Deanna Lynn ( Charles) Jacolucci of Deltona, FL; grandchildren, Savanna De Luca, Brittney Cramer, Dominic De Luca, Bryson De Luca, Nicolas Jacolucci, Angelo Jacolucci, Cole Watson and Liam Watson; sisters, Jane Nagle of Duluth, MN and Geraldine(Ted) Jones of League City, TX; brothers, Angelo De Luca of Grand Rapids, MN and Sam De Luca of Duluth, MN and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Friday, October 19, 2012 at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260. A Catholic Wake Service will be held at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:45 pm on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 26 Dogwood Trail, DeBary with Father Bernard Ngila officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida.
