She was born in Sanford, Florida to Rev. James A. and Nora K. Johnson, the 7th of 8 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters, as well as her husband, William “Cotton” Brown.
She is survived by her children, Bill, David, Kathryn (John) and Brenda (Carlton), 6 grandchildren, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held for immediate family at Sylvan Lake Cemetery at a later date.
