Norman Prince

Norman was born May l, 1927, the son of Wilbur and Jennie Prince, in St. Paris.

Norman was raised on the family farm and continued to farm throughout his lifetime. He

was a graduate of both Westville Schools and The Ohio State University. He belonged to

the Alpha Zeta Fraternity. While at The Ohio State University, he was a member of the

ROTC and joined the Air Force upon graduation. He served in the Air Force and fought

in the Korean War, before retiring in. 1962 as a Captain. He then worked at Wright

Patterson Air Force Base as an engineer before retiring in 1986. He then worked at

Central Technologies as an engineer before again retiring in 2002.

Norman is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Ruby; son, Steve Prince of St.

Paris; daughters, Tressa Brunner of Fort Wayne and Judith Allen of Toledo; stepson,

Richard Allen; and two surviving sisters, Becky Schade of St. Paris, and Cathy Harvey of

New Carlisle. Grandchildren are Nicholas Prince, Ava Prince, Olivia Prince, Zach

Brunner, Luke Brunner, Kate Allen, Reed Allen, Abby Allen, Ben Allen, and several

nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Benny Prince, and

Stepsons Brian Allen and Larry Don Jones.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 17 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Deltona Memorial

Funeral Home and Cemetery, Orange City, Florida. The Funeral and Burial will

immediately follow.
