A true friend is never truly gone. Their spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved them. 
 Brotha it was an honored knowing you, thank you for being a great friend and a great husband to my best friend. I will always remember the car talks, good laughs, advice and the fun Disney trips. Wish you farewell in your journey to eternity. You’d never be forgotten, Rest In Peace Mikey! 


Remember when we got flooded in the parking lot after work, and I pulled out some room temp beers from the trunk?   We sipped them while looking at cars get stranded ‘til 2am.     It was unplanned, but i’ll never forget it.    We’ll have a beer again sometime in the distant future.    Until then goodbye buddy.   

By far one of best humans I've ever met. Genuine and kind to the core. I was blessed to call him a friend. He lived the kind of life we all wish we lived. A life full of love. The world lost a good one. But he lives on in those of us who knew him, because to know him was to love him. He will be missed. Love you Mikey!❤️

Marlene I have no words.  I remember Michael being the baby before Joel was born.  He was the cutest boy ever.  So adorable and sweet.  I hope your beautiful memories bring you and your family comfort during this difficult time.  

Mikey- your fighting spirit is unforgettable. We will cherish all the wonderful memories we shared- the many Opening Days, holidays together, family events, and late night Xbox live sessions to name a few.  We will miss you dearly and will always keep you present with us. Rest easy, love you. 

Mikey you have been such an important and inspirational part of our lives.  Zoe “Nana”, was there from your beginning, I met you when you were merely 4 years old.  We haven’t been the same ever since.  Wish we had more family time to spend together, to travel together and to see more games together.  It’s hard to say goodbye to someone that you love so much and has been part of your life.  So we will wait and keep you in our heart and mind always, until we meet again. Rest In Peace nephew!

Mikey, you are a treasure and I will miss you dearly. You and Jessey extended so much kindness and support from day one. How can I ever thank you? I am grateful to have celebrated so many life milestones with you at my side. From learning how to play Mortal Combat at Reiner's house, countless car shows, and SO many Dolphins games (where they always disappointed us). Rest easy, my friend. I love you. 

Michael grounded us by his example, and never let go of Gods iron rod. Before he became ill, Michael was a person who did the work of countless people expecting nothing in return, he was selfless. And when he did become ill, the way he treated others that can do nothing for him demonstrated  his character because his soul was so giving. To be the saint that he is was not an advantage from others  it was his calling & purpose for everyone. He was faithful and his humility was free from pride or self importance. He was a miracle of grace that came with many struggles & sacrifices. He loved each of us as if we were one. Life has demonstrated that we will meet people that will teach us, love us, test us, use and abandon us, but Michael was the one that was truly important because he brought out the best of us. Michael knew that he was leaving, he didn’t want to say goodbye, the Lord granted him this one last mercy so his loved ones didn’t cry.

Oh Mike, where do I even begin? I’ve had the pleasure of being your friend since I was 12 years old. You were an amazing friend, brother and husband.  Thank you, thank you for everything. Thank you for being you! Thank you for letting me be the 3rd wheel on your dates with Jessy. Thank you for all the hookups at Verizon. Thank you for all the car rides, dinners and fun. Thank you for your friendship. You always looked out for me and I’ll always appreciate all you did for me. I always admired your character, humor, kindness and generosity to everyone around you, and your love for Jessy. I am truly blessed to have experienced life with you. I miss and love you. Rest easy my dear friend. 

Of all the kind souls that I have ever encountered, I must profess that you were certainly one of the most genuine & joyful ones that I had the pleasure of befriending.  We had profound conversations about life & cracked ALOT of jokes together.  The good times we shared, I will cherish forever.  You were always super chill & respectful.  I never heard you complain. When I didn't have a car, you always offered to give me a ride home from work so that I would not have to catch the city bus in the late night hour.  You encouraged me while at work.  You helped me get through some really rough days.  In life, you were always kind to me & I will remember you for that.  You did a very good job bro & I'm glad that I told you so while you were still here.  I am proud to have known you.  May you rest in eternal life -Dominic Saintil

Mike, I can’t believe that this was the last time we saw each other in person. Since this day we have spoken almost every single day on IG, sending each other funny memes, videos, movies, shows, games, etc. you became more than just a coworker you were like family to me. I’m going to miss you so much man, I’m the short time I’ve gotten to know you you’ve impacted my life in so many positive ways and always made sure to lift me up when I was down despite the battles you faced. Idk how you did it Mike but you were the strongest person I’ve ever met. You’ve battled long enough and now it’s time to rest, I know you’re in a better place watching over us. This isn’t so much good bye but a see you later. 

It’s been a little over a week since we last spoke on IG and since then I have had a million things I’ve wanted to share with you. It hurts but thank you for being such an incredible person. 

I know I already posted, but I just had to add another great memory of a bunch of us having a blast together!! 

Mike, thank you for being a great friend and coworker.  Coming from NYC to Aventura, I didn’t know anybody and you truly made me feel welcome.  From your love of the Miami Dolphins to VW, your life left a mark on mine.  For the family, I am sorry for your loss but know that Mike has impacted so many lives, including mine.  I am proud and blessed to have known him. May he Rest In Peace.  

Mikey, I find it hard to put into words what I feel. What I feel knowing I can no longer reach out to you to talk about how our days are going, or about our cars, or some video game we're currently playing, or just about anything. I know you're up there with Brandon right now, and you're in good hands, probably chosing the car and mods for the car you'll be cruising around heaven in. I already miss you bro, I'll always miss you. You were a brother from another mother, someone I always looked up to. You were the most amazing human being I've ever met. You may be gone, but I know you'll always be with us all, in all of our hearts, and looking over us. Love you always Mikey!

The world lost a wonderful soul. Your openness, comedic timing, wittiness, and ability to relate were unmatched. You battled long and hard and we’ve all been truly blessed to have been in your presence. Till we meet again my friend! 

Unreal. I'm still in a bit of a suspended disbelief hearing about your passing. Typically I can write pretty fluently, but this has me struggling. People like you are truly once in a lifetime. To call you a friend would be unjust - you were so much more than that. You were a brother. It is amazing how many of my stories have you in it. From DRD, to terrorizing the streets of SoBe, to Dubkultur, to the phenomenal drives in the Appalachian Mountains, to you coercing me into eating a brick of wasabi paste at Benihana, to camping at Sebring,  to dune buggying in the Mohave Desert, those are just a few stories that I'll get to tell my kids when they get older. You were a dedicated husband, grandson, son, brother, nephew, and friend, and you will sure be missed by all. Thank you for the many years of laughs and adventures. Thank you for showing us what it means to fight and not give up when things get rough. May you be driving the dopest mk1 on the greatest roads the other side has to offer. Love you man. May you rest in peace my brother. 🚗

Mikey, you were more than a friend, you were my brother. You were a loving husband, brother and son. You were caring, sarcastic (in a good way), funny, reliable, generous, etc. The list goes on and on but the biggest thing you were was inspirational. You were the strongest fighter I know and overcame many challenges you faced. Because of you, when faced with adversity I now think anything is possible. The fight is over and you can rest now. There will never be another you. I love you so much brother. Until we meet again. Be at peace. Now I can add guardian angel to your list. 

Mike I knew you so many years … admired your love story with Jessi and always wished to find my soulmate one day and have the greatest love like you both did .. two facts I always recall your car obsession and what a fan you were of Tupac lol we will always remember you and will always be loved by family and friends may your beautiful soul rest in peace 🙏🏻❤️

Oh Mikey - my childhood friend! Im sorry life was short for you.  I thank you for all the fun times and the love you gave our dearest sunshine Jessica!  What immediately comes to mind is all The trouble I would get into for staying out late and those long walks I would join Jessica on just so she can see you! Oh those middle school crush you guys had was divinely design for you two! brings me so much joy - I got to see my two amazing friends from 7th grade grow up together and shared so many wonderful years together!  You will be missed Mikey, thank you for all you did for the Hernandez family! 

We love you so much and that will never end. Be at peace and thank you so much for loving Jessy and giving her all you could. Our lives will never be the same again. You WILL BE MISSED.
