Matthew Alfred Melvin, of Deltona, Florida, originally of Middletown, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 19th, 2020 at the age of 31. The son of the late Matthew Robert Melvin and Agnes Arater Melvin, he was born on March 27th, 1989 in Yonkers, NY. He is survived by his wife Katelynn Roberts Melvin and their children Breawna, Mason and Taylor. He is also survived by his Mother, Agnes Arater Melvin, Stepfather, Manuel Acevedo Sr., Three Sisters, April Machado and her husband Marlon, Kayla Hernandez and her husband Josh, Victoria Acevedo, and his brother Manuel Acevedo Jr. He was also the most fun and loving Uncle Matt to Joshie, Evan, Juliana and Marlon. He was predeceased by his father, Matthew Robert Melvin, on January 4th, 2002. Viewing will be held on Friday June 5th, 2020 from 5pm-9pm. Service will be on Saturday June 6th, 2020 at 1pm with Burial to follow at 3pm. Matthew is under the care of Deltona Memorial Funeral Home located at 1295 Saxon Blvd in Orange City, Florida.
