Mary Ann Christensen

She was born January 21, 1943, in the small county town of Clinchco, Virginia. After graduating from high school, Mary Ann moved to central Florida where she met her husband, Bill Christensen, and began a long career at an ophthalmologist practice in Rockledge, Florida. After retirement, Mary Ann eventually moved to Deltona, Florida, to be closer to her son and his family.

Mary Ann was a member of the Christ Wesleyan Church and had a passion for any activities that involved time spent with family, particularly her grandson.

Mary Ann is survived by her son William, daughter-in-law Kim, grandson Luke, and her loving sister Betty.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Funeral arrangements will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, Florida 32703.

The committal service will be afterwards on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5060 8 U8 Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida 32066.
