2nd Corinthians 5: 7 - 9 says this: "For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whither present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him".

Dear Louise and Family,

We were so shocked and saddened when we learned of Mark's passing in the paper this morning, and just want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. You may not know, but Dail passed away nine years ago. I've thought of you all so often, the memories that stick out most of all when I think of you across the street is Dail giving Mark those new potatoes and he would go straight home and fry him up a skillet! Also, Heather swinging on the post yelling for Bett-ty, you would get after her all the time for doing it, but I honestly and truly got a big kick out of it! Happy memories!
I know at times like this there is really nothing that anyone can say that makes it any easier, but do want you to know we will be thinking of you, and we send our deepest sympathy. Mark was a wonderful guy and will always be remembered.

I was so sorry to hear of Mark's death.  I remember the great times he and I enjoyed together.  I recall double dating for the high school prom and his love of volkswagens.  I still tell the story of him and I taking on the senior class of PSHS because he had their senior colors on during spot day.  It resulted in innocent fun, and I recall the forty six of them taking his shirt, but not until after a fierce wrestling match.  Please accept my condolences and I will keep Mark in my memory.
