Mr. Manuel Peralta 87, of Deltona, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013. Born in Santiago Rodriguez, Dominican Republic before moving to New York where he worked and then retired as a barber at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York City. Manuel was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church and belonged to the Legion of Mary. He devoted his life to God and his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife Eloisa of fifty seven years, his four children, Manuel (Carmen), Patrick (Maria), Domingo, and Carmen Peralta, along with seven grandchildren, Tatiana, Alex, Andrew, PriScillia, Alissa, Iscac, and Amelia.
Friends will be received at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home 1295 Saxon Blvd Orange City 386-775-4260 on Tuesday November 26th from 4 pm – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10 am Wednesday November 27th. Burial will immediately follow the services at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida.
