Linda Sue Silva

It is with profound sadness that the family of Linda Sue Silva, age 84, of Mount Dora, Florida announce her peaceful passing on Friday, February 28, 2025. She was one of eight children born to the late Arvil and Eva Burchfield in Oneida, Tennessee on February 5, 1941.

Linda, twice widowed, is proceeded in death by her husband, retired Navy veteran, Preston W. Crotwell and second husband Manuel R. Silva, and is proceeded in death by her infant son Dennis Earl Crotwell.

She is survived by her son Danny Crotwell, son Philip Crotwell and wife Marya; her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda is also survived by loving family members that she cherished and adored.

Linda was an active member of First Baptist Church of Mount Dora, Florida and an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan. She enjoyed playing piano and singing, deep sea fishing, and learning to fly a small airplane in her later years. Linda’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, always encouraging others in their faith. Her deep unconditional love for her family was felt by all.

A small graveside service will be held at Deltona Memorial Cemetery with a celebration of life memorial service to be planned for a later date.
