Old Friend. July 1966 till Sept 19, 2016 was a joy for me.. A long time friendship and a Veteran Brotherhood was formed. I sure miss my weekly phone calls and I sure missed you at the last 403rd Reunion. Something we both looked forward to. Rest in Peace my Friend.You will be missed by us all.. Those Memories are still alive in the cab of TT 45.

It is always too soon to leave! I really thought I had a little more time to make a Florida visit. But time and Tom slipped away quietly. What a sense of humor Tom had! A great storyteller making everyone laugh with one more story! I was always grateful that he was a good husband to my sister Karen! And he was a great father to Kelly and Kammie just as if they were his very own from the beginning of their lives. He loved his daughter Wendy, all his grandchildren and great grandchildren!  He made a difference in the lives of many just by being there for them in any way he could. I consider it a joy that he joined our family. It is a comfort to know that he is now in the New Forever without pain and free from a body that no longer worked. All is well and will continue to be well for those who loved him. That is what Tom would want for each of us!

It doesn't seem real to me that Tom has passed away.  The years go by too fast.  He never lacked for words and always had many interesting stories and events to talk about.  He was creative, industrious and loved his family.  He will be missed greatly.  I send my condolences to his entire family and pray that the Lord's blessings will be upon his wife and those he loved now and in the years to come.  May God be near to all of you, Herbert Wetherbe (Malone, NY).

First, thank you for being my dad. All of my life people would say to me, "Is that your real dad or your step dad?" l always told them, HE is my real dad! He put REAL food on our table, he put A REAL roof over our heads, he took us on countless, REAL vacations, he busted his REAL butt, everyday workin' to be a REAL dad to me and my sisters! You stepped up to the plate, for me and Kammie, even when you didn't have to. I have hundreds and hundreds of memories growing up and into adulthood of you being there, as my REAL dad. For that, l am beyond grateful for everything you have ever done or sacrificed for me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart DAD. I love you, rest in peace, "to infinity and beyond." With Tom's passing the world of those how knew and loved him experience a great loss. Family and friends have a hole in their hearts that will never be filled. Tom did not know a stranger, always entertained with his stories and extended friendship to those that crossed his path.

I personally want to thank Tom for his friendship, laughter, hospitality and affection for Brad and Amy who also were lucky enough to call him Uncle Tom. 

We are blessed to have known Tom. Our sincere condolences to each of you  for your loss. May God's grace be with you in days ahead and with God's joy know that Tom was meet at the gates of heaven with open arms.

To my amazing grandfather I will forever and always love you, until we meet again.

I've known Tom my whole life. I find it hard to recall a childhood memory where Tom, Karen and the girls were not included. When I received the news of Toms passing, I had just laid mother(3/7/12) to rest. When my dad (12/27/10) passed we couldn't have made it through the funeral process without Tom, Karen and the kids. I can't remember the last day I saw everyone but our conversations picked up exactly where we left off. As I write these words of condolence I find tears clouding my keyboard. Tom was a good man who brought laughter to those he spent time with and I will truly miss him.

Football and NASCAR will never be the same, You always had something to say about the game. A Papa not up for trade, thankful for the memories made.  This man can never be replaced, you will forever and always be missed! Hugs from here to the moon, for a Grandpa taken to soon.

It is with much sadness in my heart today that I write this. Tom has been married to my sister Karen since I was a little girl. He has always been part of our family it seems. He was a great dad to three wonderful girls Kelly, Kammie and Wendi and a great grandpa to his grandchildren. 
     Tom loved kids and always found a way to keep them entertained! 
     I will miss his laugh and his joking around. Even up to a few days before his death he had never lost his sense of humor!
    He loved music and knew all the words to many many songs!
    There will forever be an empty place in our family without Tom. Jim and I will always miss you and be thankful you were part of our family. Rest in peace Tom. We love you!
