She was born in Staunton, Indiana on June 19, 1923 to the late William & Emelda (Niquette) Nelson.
Jennie danced through life with her bright personality and giftedness in so many areas.
She excelled in her career as a top notch administrator for Martin Marietta; and, at home, she flourished as a seamstress, cook, baker, decorator, and caring Mom.
She led a life blessed with Love. She met her first husband, James, while he was in the military, and together they had one son. She later married Guy, the nice young fellow who pumped her gas at the Shell Station he owned. They welcomed two daughters in their years together while managing Lakeview Fishing Lodge in Winter Garden, FL for over 10 years and the Winter Garden Bowling Lanes for many years after that. Jennie also had the privilege of enjoying the last era of her life with her beloved Fred. They met when they were both working for one of Disney's golf tournaments, and never separated. They loved to travel, visiting Fred's Navy pals for their regular reunions, and up to the mountains in North Carolina.
Jennie loved well in return, and her children celebrate her life with warm and joyful memories.
She is preceded in death by her dear parents, husbands, and granddaughter.
Jennie is survived by her children, James Neff (Barbara), Susan Frey (Will) and Pam Malloy; four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The Family invites you to join them at 10:30am this Sunday morning, January 5th for her Memorial Celebration with a brunch to follow at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, Florida 32763.
