He leaves behind his wife of 61 years Wyola Hayes Fehr; four children: Denise Rysz, Patricia Jones (Bill), Randal Fehr (Bonnie) and Donna Malatesta (Pat); seven grandchildren: Dr. Gary Peterson, Michael Jones, Nicholas Malatesta, Cameron Kornacki, Kayla Jones, April Langley and Morgan Fehr; ten great grandchildren; his sister Dorothy Reese; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Stan Rysz; his parents Joseph Sibley Fehr, Sr. and Dorothy Marie McMahon; and his siblings Lois, Robert, Russell and Joseph, Jr.
Donald proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Haysite Reinforced Plastics in Erie, PA.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, golfing, dancing, fishing, playing cards and horseshoes. He also had a great love for animals and was an avid football fan. He and Wyola loved spending 26 summers at Holiday Camplands in Andover, OH.
Donald was a man of integrity and had a wonderful sense of humor to the end.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763.
