Dolores Rojas, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of March 8, 2016 at Florida Memorial Fish Hospital in Orange City, Florida after an ongoing illness. Dolores was surrounded by her loving husband, son and special friend Anita as she entered into the embrace of her Lord.
Dolores was born on May 15, 1935 in Lajas, Puerto Rico to Ededina and Luis Rodriguez. She loved working in her garden, reading books, cruising, traveling, attending church and serving those in need. She often told her children no matter what you do in life do your best. That is how she lived. She did her best in her quiet, loving way, believed the best in everyone and trusted God through all her suffering. She will be missed but her love will continue on in the memory of her loving husband Robert, in the hearts of her son Luis Rojas and her daughter Aileen Flowers and in the faces and hearts of her grandchildren Madison Flowers, Joshua Flowers and Brittany Monroe. She joins her son David and her grandson Zachary in heaven and is praising her precious Lord forever.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 11. 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 12, 2016 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 2961 Day Road, Deltona, Florida 32738. Interment will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763.
