David Joseph Kanicsar,69, of Orange City, FL, passed away on January 17, 2018. He is survived by his daughter Debbi Stickels (Jason); his son Billy Kanicsar (Emily); grandson Brian Stickels; mother Marian Kanicsar; brother Steve Kanicsar (Joanne); nephew Roby Kanicsar and niece Kelly Kanicsar. He was predeceased by his daughter Dena Kanicsar, and his father Joseph Kanicsar. Dave was a loving and hardworking father. He owned and operated his drywall business “Kanicsar Drywall”. Dave knew no strangers; he would talk to anyone and everyone like they were a longtime friend. Dave was a member of Rochester Street Rods in Rochester, New York. He loved to build fast cars and watch Nascar. He also loved to drive in style as he put a ton of mileage on his many vehicles. Dave was also a foodie. He would love to try out new restaurants especially for BBQ with a Budweiser on the side. Your sense of humor will be missed by many; now it’s official: “Dave’s not here”.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on February 11th, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home.
