Clifford A. Steadman

Age 83, of Peoria, IL, passed away on July 10, 2016 in Orange City, FL. Cliff was born in Peoria, IL to Deforrest Steadman and Bessie Jones on November 20, 1932. He attended high school at Norwester and continued his education at Illinois Central College. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Bradley University in Peoria, IL where he later taught accounting. He retired from Central Illinois Light Company where he worked for 35 yrs. He enjoyed bowling, golf, swimming and spending time with all of his grand and great grandchildren. He was a Veteran of the Navy.

Clifford is survived by his brother William Steadman of Tucson, AZ; wife, Evelyn Steadman of Orange City, FL; three sons Clifford Steadman Jr of Peoria, IL, Grant Steadman of Winter Park, FL and Michael Steadman of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Lisa Bachmann of Orange City, FL and Linda Dotzert of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Bernard “Bunn” Delhiemer, sister Norma Sleeth of Peoria, IL and oldest daughter Victoria Steadman of Jacksonville, FL.
