Chris was one of the students I asked to be a symbol of diversity for having such a gentle soul; yet he was also an incredible fighter as everyone went... "WOW and he is inky 15??? as he stood at the Roxy when I went to see him fight and show support from PIne Ridge High School in Deltona when I worked there as a Diversity Advisor for VCS.  There was not one person that did not know him.  Everyone respected and liked this young man; I was impressed...  I just found out about his death... I was told two weeks ago and did not want to believe it...  Chris' smile and high energetic personality shined everywhere he went.  I last saw him jogging and boxing with the air on Providence Blvd.  I stopped and he was surprisingly willing to stop his rigorous workout and gave me a hug and asked how are you Mr. Ramos? We spoke a bit and I was hoping to hear more from him till now... God bless the familia... from BORICUAS EN DELTONA, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL... Chris was a true Orgullo Boricua...

I just heard from Rosie about the lost of your beloved son Christopher, and I am so sorry for your lost. May the Grace, Peace and Love of God be with you and yours in Jesus Christ name.  Trust and believe that someday we will be with our love ones again. That God's Love will never die, and that Jesus Christ will return, to make everything right.

We knew of Chris through his boxing in AZ. He was an amazingly dedicated, humble warrior outside the ring and a fierce competitor inside. Thanks for the exciting memories Chris. It was an honor to get to know you. My thoughts and prayers to all the family.
