She was born on August 13, 1927, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, the only daughter of Dominic “Dom” and Louella Kipp Mascilli. She moved to Mansfield in 1943, attended and graduated from Mansfield Senior High School. Ginny married Thomas Letizia in 1948, and he preceded her in death on June 28, 2001.
Ginny was the bookkeeper for Mansfield Midtown Corp. for many years. She was a trophy winning archer and founding member of the Mohican Bow Hunters Club. Ginny also enjoyed playing Pinochle with her sisters-in-law and friends. She loved her travels in Europe and the United States.
Ginny is survived by two brothers, John Mascilli and Donald Mascilli of New Kensington, PA; daughters, Lori Nicholson, Janet (Barry) Marged, Pamela (Henry) Steger and Tina (Mark) Thompson; grandchildren, Aja Corwin, Zack Seevers, Alyssa Woodard, Amanda Giesler, Jenny Motz, Annie Goodsite, Emily Ratterman, Shawna Chandler, Kaila Chapman, and Rachel Farrar; and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronald Mascilli.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of her granddaughter, Amanda, 121 Brinkerhoff Avenue, Mansfield, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Guests are advised that due to steep front steps, drop off and assistance is available at the rear of the home. All family and friends are welcome to reminisce over a light brunch and refreshments.
