Tracker was a proud Native American who cherished his heritage. He had a passion for collecting guns and knives, and spending time in the great outdoors.
Tracker worked for the Richland County Sheriff Department and as a Dog Warden. His hobbies included going to Pow Wows, collecting Native American artifacts and reading his Bible. He found solace and joy in these activities throughout his life.
He is survived by his sisters, Agnes Spencer and Sue Langley; brothers, Oscar “Bud” Spencer, Kenneth Spencer and James Spencer; half-sister, Mangline Fields; daughters, Kelly Spencer and Creedie Free-Man; sons, Hurston S. (Carla) Spencer and Caleb Free-Man; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a special close cousin, Matt Garnsey. Tracker was preceded in death by his father, Hurston V. Spencer and mother, Irene Compton Spencer.
At this time, no memorial services are scheduled. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is providing assistance in commemorating the passing of Tracker Free-Man. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Tracker Free-Man will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He had a wonderful saying, “We never pass away, we only walk on, and, in time, we all catch up with each other”.
