A graduate of Ontario High School, Vette was in the marching band and played the flute. She enjoyed spending her time singing karaoke, doing puzzles, and playing bingo. She was one of six children and enjoyed sitting by the bonfire in the backyard with her family and friends having cook-outs. Having a very strong faith in God, Vette attended St. Peters Catholic Church in Mansfield with her father and often helped him usher. She loved her children and her granddaughter very much.
In addition to her father, Vette is survived by her two children, Matthew Potts (Michelle Workman) and Tyler Potts (Brandy Ernsberger); a granddaughter, Carmen Potts; five siblings, Julie Collins, Adrian F. DeLeon (Katrina), Sara Walter (Tab), Gary Sanchez (Becky) and Sharon Lee and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her mother, Librada DeLeon and a nephew, Jeremy Sanchez.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd at 11:00 a.m. with calling one hour prior. Burial will take place in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
