A man of his word, Paul valued integrity and honesty, and whether it was to “shake your hand or kick your ass”, you knew where you stood with him. Paul was a hardworking, family man. He was formerly employed as a tool and die maker at Bunting Bearings. An avid outdoorsman, he was a champion chicken wrangler, beekeeper and enjoyed gardening.
Paul is survived by his mother, Bernice Kegley Hardy; wife, Elizabeth Pierce Kegley; children, Chris Tadijanac, Samantha Kegley, Jacob Kegley, Julianna (Darrell) Kimrey, Paul Kegley Jr. and Alivia Kegley; two grandchildren, Alice and Lilly; three brothers, George Hall, Ray (Pam) Hardy and Art (Melissa) Hardy; and a sister, Corrine Peregoy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beatrice and Haskell Kegley whom he lovingly referred to as “Mommy and Daddy”; father, Raymond Hardy; brother, Dale Hardy; and two sisters, Christine Hardy and Gypsy Messer.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Paradise Church, 87 Illinois Avenue North, Mansfield, Ohio. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Jay Hill will follow at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Springmill Cemetery with military honors presented by the Richland County Veterans Burial Detail.
