Merlin William Keefer, age 84, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at JAG Healthcare-Shelby Pointe.

Born March 23, 1939, in Mansfield, Ohio, he was the son of the late Caroline Mae (Terman) and Orva William Keefer. He was a Mansfield area barber for over 60 years. Hardworking, he enjoyed socializing with his clientele at his barbershop. Spending time at his cabin brought his great joy and peace.

Merlin is survived by a nephew, Jeff (Alicia) Whitt; two cousins, David (Cynthia) Dickerson and Sharon (Donald) Hoovler; and many beloved family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Whitt.

Private services were observed. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
