Born October 6, 1955, in Mansfield, Ohio, she was one of six children of the late Austin and Mary (Taylor) Dosier. Lynn found her greatest joy in spending time with her family-especially her grandchildren. She was the ultimate caregiver in her family and gave of herself abundantly. She enjoyed life to the fullest and relished every special memory created.
Hosting parties and get-togethers were special times. Lynn had a unique knack for cooking and knew just how to combine items to get the best tasting dishes—her soups were amazing! She enjoyed decorating both inside and outside her home and the love and care she took were on display for everyone to see. Traveling anywhere, motorcycle riding and boating were just some of the ways she relaxed and recharged.
Lynn is survived by her husband of 26 years, Daniel Groth; two children, Shelly Jacobs (Brian Vitcusky) and Michael (Heather) Gibson; five grandchildren, Laila Briana, Hailey Jacobs, Austin Gibson, Mikayla Gibson and Ethan Jacobs; two siblings, Charles (Carolyn) Dosier and Loretta Scarborough; several nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Marjorie Groth; sister-in-law, Susan (John) Postl; and brother-in-law, Brian Groth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Lee Dosier, Kay Booze and Fran Carbone; father-in-law, Frank Groth; and nephew, Roger Ward.
A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at a future date. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Richland County.
