She was born November 14, 1942, in Georgetown, South Carolina, to the late Cleveland and Corrine (Goins) Lambert. Blessed with a green thumb, she loved her vegetable and flower gardens. She found peace in sitting on her son’s porch listening to the birds. Christmas get-togethers were favorite times.
Grace was old fashioned and knew how she liked things to be. She could be a bit stubborn but her spunky spirit was a welcome addition to any event. Grace had a soft heart, was a Christian woman and was willing to help anyone in need. She loved to laugh and her beautiful smile will be a special memory for all who knew her.
She is survived by five children, Cynthia (Mark) Eckstein, Vickie (William) Dunn, Arnold Teeters II, Cathy Teeters and Art (Angela) Teeters; three grandsons, Daniel, Alexander and Hunter; a step great-granddaughter, Gracie; five brothers, Ervin Lambert, Fred (Ann) Lambert, Michael Lambert, Tony (Deborah) Lambert and Jack (Imogene) Lambert; and a sister, Alice (Robert) Flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Teeters Sr.; brother, Phillip Lambert; and two sisters, Annie Lou Baxley and Elizabeth Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
