After many years of illness and health challenges, we lost Debra Kay Cline on November 25, 2024 at the age of 68. She was surrounded by her children and many grandchildren, who were a very important part of her life. She was born July 26, 1956, in Springfield, Ohio to Marilyn Jane (Beasley) and Edward Joseph Willis. Along with her siblings, she spent her childhood years in Lorain, Ohio. She also lived in California before returning to Ohio and living near her many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were a very important part of her life.
Debbie didn’t need a special occasion to do what she loved most, which was bringing her family all together. Among the things Debra enjoyed doing were playing Scrabble, Uno and crossword puzzles, along with shopping, collecting clocks and spending time in nature at Fox Glen Park and Kingwood Center.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Willis, Stacie Willis and Melanie (Earl) Cline; fourteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward Beasley, Ted Beasley and Anthony Beasley; a sister-in-law, Retha Beasley; many nieces and nephews; and very special friend, Steve Bailey, who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Michelle Denise Beasley; and brother, Gary Lamar Beasley.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road with Mark Peters and Dora Gilmore officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
