Virginia Herrera Castro

92, a resident of Chino, CA entered heaven on January 12, 2018 at home in the presence of her loving family. She was born on November 12, 1925 and her husband Saul Castro of 49 years preceded her in death in 1992.

"Mom Castro" was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, story teller and above all else a great woman of faith. Survived by her daughters Teri Leon, Helen Miller, Evelyn Martinez, Erendira Castro, and Martha Correa. Her sons Saul Castro Jr., James Castro and Maurice Castro, plus 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who had the fortune to have known her. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Calvary Chapel Chino Valley Church (12205 Pipeline Ave., Chino) at 10:00AM. Burial service to follow at Forest Lawn Covina Hills with interment by her husbands side. Reception following burial at Calvary Chapel Chino Valley Church.
