area when she was a baby.
She graduated from Chaffey High School in 1940. That same year, she married Roger Sagouspe. Early in their marriage they rented a small store in Chino where they sold food and pumped gas. They lived in a small apartment in the back. Larry was their first born. Roger and Sylvia moved several times in the same area, as well as, to Roger’s parents’ house. During the moves Marguerite and Barry were born.
The final move was back to Ontario to a house on E. La Denny. Sylvia was a stay at home mom and Roger followed his dream of being a police officer. The house was on a cul-de-sac where neighbors became friends. The kids soon found out that, Ms. Sylvia made snacks and everything was fun! Sylvia was active in the PTA and the Rebecca Lodge. She loved to sew and cook and bowl. Her RED bowling ball made certain that Sylvia stood out - gutter ball or strike!
Roger and Sylvia were married 68 years. Sylvia is survived by three children, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Bellevue Memorial Chapel, 1240 W G Street in Ontario, California.
