She was born on February 21st 1929 in Malate, Manilla, Phillippines where she lived on Leviriza st.
She was the youngest of 6 children, her brothers George, Robert and sisters Betty and Lourdes.
She had a beautiful and a very happy childhood living close to all of her brothers and sisters and all of her nieces and nephews whom she treasured so dearly and next to the Our Lady Of Assumption Church, the Manilla Zoo and near the beach.
She graduated with honors as a teacher from Santa Isabelle College.
Where her brother George would make sure she made it to school safely and her nephew Albert would meet and walk her back home.
Where she enjoyed the arts, such as writing, drama club and music.
She was a gifted writer as well as a passionate pianist.
She Loved to socialize and tell stories.
Her gift of writing and correspondence would later lead her to meet her husband, Frank Mendoza Pala.
She traveled to the United States on the American President Line Ship.
When they arrived to the California, she and Mamang lived with Her Brother Bob, Wife Amparo and his Family and then with Her niece Violet and husband Willie until she married Frank in 1965 where they moved to Fullerton with mamang. She had Ann Francine in 1966 and Patrick Dean in 1967, where they enjoyed living next to their neighbor, Benny Bico.
They moved their family to Ontario in 1971. She cared for her mother in their home with such love. There, she began her beautiful gardens that included her number one plant love, roses and then her delicious fruit trees.
She devoted her life to raising her children and as a wonderful mother ,being a wife and caring daughter.
Her granddaughter, Brittany Crystal would be born in 1983 and she raised her with love.
She actually felt so close to many of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children.
She enjoyed spending time with her sister Betty and sister in law Pacita. They shared many laughs as remembering their cherished memories frequently.
Her devoted son Patrick was her best friend and loved to go to lunches and visit family together or even just go for a car ride together and seen the mountain views.
She loved her son in law, Gary and was so happy that she had him in her life.
She loved Brittany's long boyfriend Chris and every time they ate at the table together she made sure to sit across from him so she could give him a little kick as a love tap.
She was very active and had many lasting friendships.
She loved to travel and take photos with everyone she met and to visit all of her loved ones.
Dancing was another thing she loved to do as well as checking in on everyone to make sure that they ate.
So everybody please make sure you eat just as she would like you to.
We miss so very dearly and deeply. We will always have you in our hearts and every step we take in life we know that you are with us always.
