Orlando David Montoya

The Montoya family is very saddened to announce the passing of our brother Orlando David Montoya. Orlando entered into rest on August 18, 2023, a Friday. He was 61 & 1/2 and our almighty God lifted him up into peace with no pain. Orlando was born into the Montoya family February 13, 1962, his parents were Enrique (Henry) and Julia Montoya of Upland, California now deceased. His siblings are Donald Fernandez, Roman Montoya (deceased), Henry Montoya (deceased), Maria (Mary) Montoya-Santillanez (Paul), Lupe Straton (Dan) and Rosenda Montoya. Orlando is survived by his daughter Desiree Montoya, and grandchildren Jazmin Chavez and Eddie Priest. He also is survived by several great-grandchildren and many nieces, Breeana, Olivia, Marilla and nephew Paul, and also Loreena, Salina, Rosie, Nicole, Grace and nephew Angel, along with numerous great nieces and great nephews. Orlando was a lifelong resident of Upland, California and attended Upland Elementary, Upland Junior High and Upland High School. Orlando held many jobs in his lifetime, but being a bricklayer and tender were his most memorable. In his spare time he would craft remarkable pictures frames and little shoes. He really enjoys creating those works of art.

Orlando will be truly missed but will remain in our hearts always.
