Brother,  another year goes by without you! I miss you so much! Sometimes  I pretend you're  still here with us to cope with my pain;  but I know you're  in a better place! I miss your phones calls, your  jokes and laughter. Forever  I will treasure our beautiful  memories!

Hi Uncle Nacho<3 can’t believe a whole year has went by since you left. Everyone feels it, it’s like you are still here. Me and Mikey have had dreams about you. Your sisters and brothers nieces and nephews- we all miss you like crazy and there’s such a huge void where your laughter and jokes and presence filled everywhere!!! You went. Auntie Marina, you would be so proud of her such a strong Woman but you know that already.  She too, misses you so dang much but has stepped up in your place with such grace and love to us all. You would be so proud of her and Mikey and Leah. They have pulled together and struggle everyday with your loss but that has also brought them closer together. You’ve taught them all so much about life, life’s knowledge, and I see you in them so much. They’ve got your jokes for sure!:) Leah stepped it up on Thanksgiving last year and her Ham really came in clutch! Looks like she took your cooking skills on! Mikey is doing so well, not giving up, taking the lead, everyone is living for you!! Momo graduated!! He’s 18!! 18!! Can you believe it!! A young man now. We were so proud of him. And miss Kaleah went to her high school dance dressed beautifully. Lil Marina is in Middle school and liking it! You’d be so proud of them all. Ricky drew a picture of you in your old high school grad pic it came out really nice you’d love it.  Everyone jokes about your long luxurious hair tehe!! The 70s!! You had that on point! It seems crazy that someone is here and then in a blink of an eye they’re gone. It feels like you just left us all too soon but that’s not the case. It was Gods timing. And His timing is always right. He cannot fail us. We have to have faith in His love and promises. And have no fear bc there is no fear where God lives in us. I wonder what you are doing right now in Heaven with the rest of our family. Peace and no sorrow. And rest. No strife. Love and happiness. Please continue to look after us all. We love you so much! Until we meet again<3

Nacho, I'm sorry I  missed your funeral Homie. I have lots of great memories of those beer drinking days and playing baseball. Brother, you took part of my heart that morning that you went home! I miss you everyday, I miss your phone calls, your jokes and your loving advise! I hold the beautiful memory of  you when I last saw you; dropping me off at airport when I moved to Florida!! I feel your hug & love, I remember turning back to look at you one last time as you stood there on sidewalk! If I could only run back one more time to give you another hug; little did I know it would be the last hug, until we meet again in heaven I will give you the biggest hug ever. Wow. I am shocked.  It has been many many years since I have seen Nazario aka Nacho.  I knew Nazario personally especially back in the days at Ontario High School.  Whether it be hanging around the head, holding up the wall, P.E., and Art class with Ms. Stocks (we sat at the same table).  I remember his Yellow VW.  I would see drive by and he would give me the peace sign.  If i'm correct he was stationed in West Germany with the U.S. Army. I believe I came across him one day because he was yelled  my name (at the time I went by Jimmy), after that I never saw him again. Throughout the decades I have never forgotten about him and have wondered what has gone on with him.  I knew he was raise in the old two-story house on Acacia.  Even though, I am surprised; It's wonderful that he got to know the Lord and have a relationship in knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  He was a faithful servant of the Lord and has earned he rightful place in heaven.  In closing, my condolences to the entire Martinez Family.  May God replace your sorrow with Joy.    

To the Martinez family, I send you my deepest condolences. I am sorry for the loss of your brother, uncle, father, and my cousin. Although we have not seen each other in many years, you are still in my thoughts. I have fond childhood memories and also times, though few and not enough, of visits as adults. May God grant you consolation in due time. We know that Nacho is resting in peace. 

My name is Manuel Holguin and I want to give my condolences to Nachos wife, children and relatives. So sorry for the loss of this man that I knew since he was a teenager. I got to know Nacho because he was an acquaintance with my younger brother Tury of Ontario. I never hanged around with Nacho at that time because I was older than he was. Later, I got a little bit acquainted with Nacho when he started working at the G.E. Iron Plant in Ontario on Main Street. Also, I got acquainted with his father in law, Frank Navarro. Long story short, Nacho and I really got aquatinted when he and I started working at G. E. Engine Jet Shop in Ontario. We worked together, laughed so hard together and joked each other. Later it got better when Frank Navarro his father in law started working with us. Every day was a fun day. Afterwards, the G.E. Aircraft Engine Shop closed down and everyone went their separate  way and we didn’t fellowshipped any more. I sure miss those days with Nacho Martinez and Frank Navarro and all my other fellow co-workers. Again, my deepest sympathy to the whole family and my prayers go to the family and may the Lord comfort you in this time of sorrow. Didn't know Nacho for very long but i remember when i first met him was at his house for prayer meet that Mikey had initiated. Nacho was so welcoming and said to make myself at home and that i was always welcome. He would make conversation and was always engaged to getting to who i was.I admired how Mikey and his dad would back and forth just crack jokes. He was the life in the house for sure. Love you Martinez family, may The Lord bless your house and continue to give you his peace.

It is with profound sadness that I write this memorial for my ol’ friend, Nacho.  We had a friendship that spanned Jr. High through College. In the early years, I spent many days at the Martinez home after my paper route on Acacia St. I witness the love and interaction of the family that was a testament to the kind of person Nacho would become.  He became a loving, fun, and resilient man and father.  Two things that stood out about my ol’ buddy was his infectious laughter and his willingness to have my back, no matter the consequence. To Marina, thank you for being gracious and patient with me during the early years of your marriage.  I have fond memories of my visits for card games and BBQs.  May you and your children treasure the memories and be blessed by God’s comfort, always.

So sorry for Nacho's loss to your entire familia.  He was a good friend throughout high school and Chaffey College and then we lost touch a few years after that.   I was glad that I was able to see him a few years ago and was happy to see he was pretty much as I remembered him (a bit more religious and that is OK).

Uncle Nacho, your passing was unexpected to us all. You are missed. So much. You brought life and laughter everywhere you went. Always had a smile. We were so blessed to have been able to see you just days before. And even though you were sick, you still managed to make us all laugh, and made my daughter feel special. And you sure could cook!! My Mama said when my brother was born you visited the very next day at my Nanas w/ flowers and said "Let me see my nephew!":) You were like a father to him ever since, never left his side. Im glad I had a chance to thank you for that. You never made anyone feel less than. I'll always be grateful.  You are missed. Youre in Heaven now. <3 Give everyone hugs for us. We love you.

You were the life of our gatherings. From the infamous “hug” chants to having the room join in together to cheer your name on. We’ll miss it all! 
We’ll miss your good cooking and how you’d always sneak us a taste test of what you made before it was served. Thanksgiving will not be the same without seeing you enter in, hands full with a beautiful golden turkey. You always had a gift to warm others hearts with the food you’d prepare.
We’ll  miss the calls, not text messages, you would give us on special occasions like our birthday and anniversary. You’d always express your love and how important the day and we were to you.
