Nadia Fayek Bishai

Nadia Bishai, 82, passed away surrounded by family at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, Ca.

on March 29th, 2015, Palm Sunday. Now at rest with her husband Maher. She is survived by their

three children, Michael, Miranda, and Mark Bishai, and seven grandchildren.

Nadia was born in 1932 in Cairo, Egypt. She attended the private Scottish School for Girls in

Alexandria and graduated from English Mission College in Cairo. In May of 1954 she married

Maher Bishai, and they came to the United States in 1955. They were actively involved at

San Antonio Community Hospital where Maher specialized in thoracic vascular surgery.

Always a part of her children's lives and the community, Nadia was president of the PTA

and joined the Assistance League in 1974 where she volunteered for over 40 years.

Nadia enjoyed cooking, loved flowers, and cherished family.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 3rd from 4-8pm at Draper Mortuary in Ontario.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4th at 2:30pm at

North Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church in Claremont. Her body will be laid to rest

alongside her husband at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario.

Nadia will remain forever loved in our hearts.
