Maria Angelica Cota

Angelica Cota, peacefully passed away at San Antonio Hospital, with her family by her side on February 3, 2012. Angelica was 86 years old when she succumbed to Clostridium Difficile Colitis. She was born in Norwalk, California; however her family returned to the Azores where she spent her childhood. In 1955 she returned to California with her husband and family, where she remained until her passing. She was a loving and prayerful woman who dedicated her life to her family and God. Her beautiful blue eyes and wide smile radiated the room. Angelica is predeceased by her husband, Frank Cota. She is survived by her two daughters, Maria Aguiar and Mary Torres, two granddaughters, Jennifer and Liliana Torres, a son-in-law Carlos Torres, and two sisters, Maria Coelho and Clara Sousa.

Viewing will be held Thursday, February 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, 877 N. Campus, Upland, CA.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, February 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Upland, followed by an Interment at Bellevue Mausoleum, Ontario.
