

Joseph (Joey, DJ Greengo Uno) was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 29. 1983, the son of Anne Marie Strege. He moved with his family to San Pedro, California in 1984. He grew up in Ontario, California. He loved to surf, skateboard, fish, and play video games with his friends. He also played ice hockey. He attended Montclair High School, but received his diploma through Chaffey Adult School in 2002.
Joseph moved with his family to Alta Loma in 2001. Joey began a career of making DJ style music. One of the bands he worked with was Out of Angst. His music took Joey on many tours and to other venues, including the Warp Tour.
He moved with his family to Palmdale, California in 2003. At that time, Joseph worked at Lance camper Manufacturing and in construction. Then, he began his career as a forklift operator at Ventura Foods in Ontario until his tragic death.
Joseph was in the process of restoring cars and making music with his friend and rapper Tef-Lon. He had a full life with work, friends, music, cars and car shows.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Anne Stanley of Palmdale. His step-fathers, Joel Hvidsten of Orange and Mike Stanley of Palmdale. His brothers Jeremy Hvidsten, and Justin (Bella) Hvidsten of Orange. He is also survived by step-brothers Seth Hvidsten of Texas and Joe Stanley of Lancaster, and step-sisters Tina (Naveen) Khosla of Chino Hills, Kathy (Wayne Leonard) Stanley of California City, and Brenda Stanley of Los Angeles. He also leaves his maternal grandparents Bill and Lois Strege of Lancaster, California.
Joseph is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joey will be remembered and missed as one of the "Montclair boys" and as part of the "freestylelife" club.
