Joseph John Provenzano, 93, of Chino, California passed away on April 5, 2015. Joseph was born on March 14, 1922 to Peter and Elizabeth Provenzano in Chicago, Illinois. After serving his country in World War II in the US Army Air Corps, Joseph came to California where he was an owner/operator/mechanic of gas stations (one in Los Angeles-next to the International Airport, two in Westminister and another in Garden Grove). Joseph's passion and hobby was building houses. He loved it so much that he spent 27 years of his life in Las Vegas, Nevada doing just that.
Mr. Provenzano is survived by his sons, Peter (and wife, Judi) and John (and his wife, Debbie); six grandchildren, Vincent Provenzano, Michelle Millunzi (and her husband, Tony), John Provenzano, Michael Provenzano, Jonina Provenzano and Bianca Provenzano. His legacy also includes five great-grandchildren, Aiden Provenzano, John Michael Provenzano, Benjamin Midlik, Keira Millunzi and Adalin Millunzi.
Joseph is preceeded in death by his parents; wife, Josephine; brother, Frank; and sister, Marie.
Visitation will be held at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, California on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM and will be immediately followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Interment with military honors will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
