Jewell Brewer

Jewell Brewer was born on February 22, 1926 to Daniel Ryerson and Effie Holt Ryerson in Oak Hill Missouri. She was the youngest of 8 children. They grew up in a farming community. Her family later moved to a town called bourbon Missouri. At the age of 18 Jewell married John E. Brewer, they had 7 children. They moved their family to the town of Borger Texas in 1959 where they lived until 1969. In January of 1969 they moved their family to Ontario California. John Passed away in 1980. Jewell remained in Ontario until July 2011. She then moved to the citrus nursing home in Fontana Ca, where she passed away on October 8,2012 at the age of 86. Jewell is survived by 6 children, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. Jewell was a loving wife, Mother and grandmother. She had a love for all animals; she especially loved the humming birds that visited her yard to drink from the feeder she placed near her window. Jewell was well liked in the community, she made friends easily with all of her neighbors. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
