It is with great sadness to announce the passing of James "Jim" Montgomery Young also known as James Floyd Anderson, of Ontario, California. Jim entered into rest at the age of 89 on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Jim was born in Texas on October 1, 1935. Jim attended Chaffey High School in Ontario, California, where he served as a leader of the Future Farmers of America. During his senior year, Jim held the position of Senior Vice President and was honored to be the Class Valedictorian in 1955. After graduation, Jim enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for 20 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. Jim earned many commendations meritoriously and always went above and beyond what was required. Jim worked for the Moreno Valley School District as the head custodian until he retired. Most important to Jim was being a member of the Church of Christ in Ontario. He had been a member since the age of 15.
Jim is predeceased in death by his siblings Maurice Anderson, Capitola Carter, Leandro Anderson, Ruth Watkins, Edward Anderson Jr., Elaine Hopkins, Richard Anderson, and Robert Anderson.
Jim is survived by his daughter Kim Thu Thi Le-Young, son in law Hung Xuan Do, granddaughters Quynh Tien and Le Quan, siblings Thelma Satterwhite, Dwight Anderson, Roger Anderson, Christine Anderson, David Anderson, and many nieces and nephews.
