Well Mitch, it’s been two years today since you left for a better world. Just letting you know you haven’t been forgotten and are thought about often. We all miss you and hope you’re having a wonderful time in heaven.

I found a photo of “Mitch” on my phone this morning and thought I’d post it here. He sent it to me in 2017.  I’m sure going to miss him.

I had the opportunity of spending a year together with “Mitch” (as we called him) in 2014 to 2015, and we became close friends. Since I hadn’t heard from him in a while, I searched online and am saddened to read the news of his passing. Mitch was a highly intelligent and very funny man who will surely be missed by many, not the least of which is me. If you are reading this, Mitch, I wish you the sweetest of dreams. Until we meet again…
