It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Gustavo Barreto Perez of Upland, California. Gustavo entered into rest at the age of 84 on Friday, October 20, 2023. Gustavo was born in Colima, Mexico on September 17, 1939. Gustavo worked at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden for 23 years.
Gustavo is preceded in death by his father Francisco, mother Clementina, and sister Olivia.
Gustavo is survived by his wife Yolanda Perez, six siblings and many nieces and nephews.
