Grace A. Braatz born March 8, 1913 in Cleveland, Ohio. She is preceded in death by Husband George Braatz, sister Ruth Walborn, and her Mother and Father. Educated and raised in Lakewood, Ohio. She married the love of her life George in 1933. They were married for 49 years. They moved to Upland, California in 1946 and resided there for 60 years. Grace worked for Southern California Gas Company for 30 years and then retired in 1976. She volunteered at San Antonio Hospital in the Women's Auxiliary for years. She also belonged to the Friends of Upland Library. She enjoyed Traveling and attended 16 Elder Hostels including Hawaii. She enjoyed reading, needle point, bowling, playing cards and attending retirement parties and functions. Grace is survived by Neice Janice Forsythe, Wayne Walborn, Mary Walborn, great nieces Laura & Christa, great nephew Jason, and many dear friends.
