Fred O. Crowell

Fred O. Crowell of Pomona, California died on December 28, 2014 at his home. He was born on January 30, 1930 in Pomona, California and lived in that city his entire life. Fred worked as a grounds keeper for the City of Pomona for over 35 years and was a member of the Pomona First Baptist Church. His hobbies included gardening and antique automobiles. Fred is survived by his wife, Doris M. Crowell, his sons, Darrell Crowell (of Pomona, CA) and Gordon Crowell (of Mapleton, OR); his grandchildren, Ron Profeta, Ashley Crowell, Tarah Buenrostro and Zandra Crowell: and his great-grandchildren, Heidi and Leah Profeta and Anthony and Michelle Buenrostro. Fred also leaves behind his twin sister, Freda Wells. He is preceded in death by sisters, Vera Sapp, Melba Saskas, Velva Mosier and a brother, Burnell Crowell.

Visitation will be held at Draper Mortuary on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Pomona First Baptist Church on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park, Ontario, California.
