Donna Doris Van den Boom

Donna was born on July 13, 1927 to Dewey and Amy Grothe in Stockbridge, Wisconsin. Donna grew up on a dairy farm in Stockbridge, where her dad was a cheese maker. Donna attended school in Stockbridge and met and married her high school sweetheart, Louis Van den Boom. They were married for 71 years.

Donna was a homemaker while raising her children and joined her husband at Laminations West as an administrative assistant until their retirement in 1990.

Donna is survived by her three children, Susan Holyfield, Deborah Van den Boom and Jeff (Teresa) Van den Boom, her grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Goodey, Amy Van den Boom and Adam (Devin) Van den Boom and her great grandchildren; Rhett and Blake Goodey and Ayden Van den Boom.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis W. Van den Boom, her parents; Dewey and Amy (Parsons) Grothe, Sisters; Beverly (Leslie) Spencer, Vivian (James) Raybern, Vyonne (Lester) Bahrs, and brother, Robert Grothe and several nieces and nephews.

Services are pending to take place at Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
