Darrell Allen Smith

DARRELL A. SMITH was born on March 24, 1940 in Pomona, Ca to James Roland Smith and Crystal Lyndal Hastings Smith. He passed away at home on April 29th with his wife, Marlene, by his side. He was very proud of his daughters, Shauna K. Smith and Monica L. Zinda, as they were the love of his life. His grandchildren are, Samantha Zinda, McKenna Zinda, Sean Zinda and Carly Powell. Darrell attended Chaffey High School, Class of ’58 and on to Chaffey College. He was in the US Navy for several years. He retired early due to an accident. He went on to the employ of Climet, Wilden Pump, and retired as Sales Engineer from Pumping Solutions. He resided in the area most of his life. All who knew Darrell enjoyed his enthusiasm for life. He loved sailing, traveling and recently was consumed with working on his Ancestry. Everyone who knew him loved him. He will be greatly missed by all.
