Candace Sue Ellena

of Upland, CA passed away on Wednesday 12/29/10 surrounded by her family. Candy was born in Pontiac Michigan on 9/19/49. She was the third oldest of 10 children to Troy and Wanda Miller. Candy was an Upland resident for over 43 years and graduated from Upland High School in 1967. Candy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Claude, sons John Ellena and Peter Ellena (Upland), Daughter in Law Gigi (Upland), 2 grand children Troy and Katy (Upland), Brothers Terry Miller (Oklahoma), Lynn Miller (Colorado), Bennett Miller (Ontario), Michael Miller (Colorado), Sisters Sherrell Poff (Devore), and Sandra Esecamilla (Ontario). Candy was preceded in death by Granddaughter Tara Ellena (Upland), Brothers Patrick Miller (Ontario) and Robin Miller (Ontario and Sister Lucinda Rummel (Ontario). Candy was a loving mother and homemaker. She served on many boards and charities including Valencia PTA, Upland AYSO, OPARC, Foothill Little League and Champagne Ladies at Red Hill Country Club. Candy loved to cook, doing crafts and a good telephone conversation. Graveside services will be at Sunset Mausoleum in Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario, CA on 1/7/11 at 1PM. Following the services a reception will be held at the Ellena residence in Upland CA. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be given to Steven's Hope for Children 1014 W. Foothill Blvd. Suite B Upland, CA 91786.
