Barbara was born January 17, 1951 to Annie Mae Wilson and Edward Blunt Sr. Barbara graduated from Manual Arts High School, and was married to Eddie Newman on September 23, 1967. She had a passion for reading novels and cooking.
Barbara Newman is survived by her children; Roshawn Gilmore, Loren Newman, Jamar Newman, and Eric Newman, as well as her Grandchildren: Keonna Gilmore, Deshawn Newsome, Clarence Gilmore Jr., Jessica Tanner, Breana Newman, and Myesha Newman. Great grandchildren: Tramell Gilmore-Newsome, Kylan Gilmore, Kamadj'e Gilmore-Rodell, and Londyn Gilmore. Barbara also has a host of nephews and nieces that will miss her dearly.
Barbara was a loving and caring soul and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
