Amparo Gutierrez

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Amparo Gutierrez of Ontario, California. Amparo was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on August 22, 1954. Amparo entered into rest at the age of 69 on Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Amparo enjoyed spending time in her garden tending to her roses and citrus trees, crocheting heirlooms, and cooking for others. Cooking truly was her love language. From making the most basic meals to the most exquisite like her flavorful tamales and delicious pipian, her family loved any meal because it was made from the heart. You could not enter her home without being offered a meal.

Amparo’s memories and blessings continue with her four children, eight grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters. Amparo was the first born daughter, taking care of her 12 siblings and helping her parents around the family farm. It brings peace to know that she has reunited with her parents and three siblings that passed before her. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her.

A visitation for Amparo will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 10191 Central Ave, Montclair, CA 91763.

A committal service will occur Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W G St, Ontario, CA 91762.
