Alice Saldana Torres

Alice S. Torres, 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Kaiser Hospital in Ontario. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 36 years, Frank E. Torres. Alice was born Orange, California but lived a majority of her life in the city of Ontario where she attended school, married, and raised her family. She was an accomplished homemaker but also sold Avon for many years. She had a particular interest in plants and gardening and loved to visit botanical gardens and nurseries. She was incredibly creative and loved to make crafts, crochet, sew, bake, and make strawberry jam. Alice loved nature and outdoor activities, especially camping and fishing. A yearly hunting trip to Utah she took with her husband Frank was something she looked forward to every year. Although age and illness slowed her down later in life, she never stopped living her life. She did her best to spend to spend as much time with her family and close friends as she could. Alice was an incredibly strong, resilient, and gracious woman who was lobed and admired by many. She will be greatly missed by all those she loved and leaves behinds.
