Alfredo Guillen Alcaraz

Alfredo Guillen Alcaraz, 87 years of Fontana, passed away June 12, 2022 at Kaiser Hospital Fontana. He was born February 5, 1935 to Jesus and Agripina Alcaraz of Michoacán, Mexico and was a Fontana resident for 56 years.

Alfredo was a Steel worker for 38 years: Kaiser Steel (28 years) and CSI (10 years). He had a passion of going to church, bingo, horse racing, gardening and watching Angels Baseball.

Alfredo Alcaraz is survived by his sister Ethelvina Perez; children Alfredo, David, Martha, Veronica Alaniz and Jesse; daughter-in-laws Elizabeth and Lori; son-in-law Manuel; grandchildren Alexis, Amanda, Brianna, Jesse, Matthew, Christian, Sarah and Noah; step grandchildren April, Sergio and Liza; grandson-in-laws Fernando and Christopher; step granddaughter-in-law Kerina; step grandson-in-law Nathan; great grandchildren Raylynn, Maximus, Shae and Emelia; step great grandchildren Calista, Diana, Annabell, Jocelynn, Joseph, Elijah, Mia, Angelo and James. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Lupe Chavez Alcaraz of 49 years of marriage, sisters Enriqueta Calderon, Raquel Leon, Consuelo Elizarraraz, brother Jesus Alcaraz, son Raymond, grandson Raymond Junior, and granddaughter Isabella.

Alfredo loved all his family and family gatherings. He loved seeing his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up before his eyes.

A visitation for Alfredo will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762. A rosary will occur Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762. A funeral mass will occur Friday, July 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 710 S. Sulatana, Ontario, CA 91764. A burial will occur Friday, July 15, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 444 E. Lexington Ave., Pomona, CA 91766.
