He was born August 9, 1958 in Cobleskill the son of Charles and Janet (Gray) Zimmerman.
On July 18, 1987, Steve married Natalie Rider in Davenport Center.
Steve was retired from his plumbing and heating business. He was the youngest person to ever pass the Master Plumbers test.
Steve enjoyed cars, snowmobiles, boats, dirt bikes (anything with a motor). With his love of cars, Steve enjoyed rebuilding his first car, a 1975 Pinto, an ongoing project that his son, Ford will continue. He recently rebuilt a 1985 Bronco II with Dustin. He also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, racing and listening to music and his many pets through the years. He spent much of his youth at Titus Lake as an avid water skier, boat operator and riding dirt bikes around the lake.
Steve was very proud of his children and his grandchildren.
Steve is survived by his wife, Natalie; three children, Miranda and Sean Weber, Ford and Jenelle Zimmerman and Dustin Zimmerman; his great dane puppy, Cooper; his grandchildren, Posie Weber, Jayden Zimmerman, Levi Jordan and Daniel Zimmerman; his father, Charlie Zimmerman, and Abigail McKay; his brother, Charlie and Victoria Zimmerman; mother-in-law, Donna Jean Rider; brother-in-law, Todd Rider; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Janet Zimmerman and father-in-law, Keith Rider.
A graveside committal service for close friends and family will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Davenport Cemetery.
